Affinia Group, Inc., global leader of aftermarket replacement parts for automotive, commercial, and off-highway vehicles seeks qualified candidates for its Internal Audit Team.  This position will have responsibilities for operational and financial audits at the Company?s Filtration locations and is located in Gastonia, NC.

 

Responsibilities:

 Preparing and performing operational and financial audits by interviewing personnel, evaluating evidence and preparing detailed work papers to support conclusions.Identifying process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes.Assisting with preparation of risk assessments, audit programs and internal audit reportsAssisting with compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.Completing special projects as requested.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance2 to 4 years of audit experienceStrong interpersonal skills, ability to perform interviews, and ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goalsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environmentAbility to work with minimal supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Office productsAbility and willingness to travel up to 30%
