The BearingPoint Public Services Team is currently searching for a Senior Manager to lead and support various Identity Management business initiatives. This includes HSPD-12 and other biometric, identity management and credentialling projects.

Take a lead role in pursuit of new business, including identification of opportunities and leading proposal efforts for HSPD-12 and other identity management, biometric and credentialling programs. Help to develop system solutions based on maximal reuse of existing software architectures and lead efforts to deliver systems using them. Propose strategies for enhancing marketability of existing products and when approved help to realize them. Must have extensive experience leading a system development team. Familiarity with and experience implementing systems incorporating standards-compliant biometric technologies (including multi-modal biometric fusion), cryptography and smart cards is essential.

Experience in the development of large scale information systems is required. Strong system architectural and technical leadership skills and a 4 year degree in an engineering discipline are also required. Familiarity with and experience using rigorous software development processes consistent with SEI Level 4 or higher preferred. Must have 20 or more years of professional experience. Will report into Springfield, VA office, but can live and work remotely.
