Senior Manager, Healthcare Audit

Goodman & Company is a regional, certified public accounting firm that delivers innovative accounting, tax, and specialized services. We are currently seeking an Audit Senior Manager for our office in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Responsibilities include:

 

-Manage and run healthcare provider audits with preference in auditing hospitals, nursing homes, HMO's, large physician practice groups, and other types of healthcare providers

 

Position Requirements:

 

-Large local, regional, national, or Big 4 public accounting experience, specializing in healthcare (minimum of 6 years)CPA required.

-Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations preferred

-Knowledge of revenue cycle and third-party settlement accounting preferred

-Experience auditing hospitals, retirement facilities (NF's, ALF's, & CCRC's), HMO's, large physician practices, or other types of large healthcare providers

-Public experience or combination of private experience with a health system, hospital, or nursing home chain in addition to some public accounting

-Practice development skills and willingness to network at HFMA meetings, etc.

-Proven track record managing engagements of various sizes.

-Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations; revenue cycle and third-party reimbursement accounting experience preferred

-Ability to generate new business and networking skills are crucial

-Some travel required
