ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
FUNCTION:
The Senior Manager, International Tax position works with minimal supervision in the completion of complex tasks and functions as a technical tax advisor reporting directly to the Director, International Tax. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and reviewing the work of tax staff accountants as well as analyzing, preparing and reviewing all aspects of U.S. international tax compliance and planning. This position acts as a liaison between the Corporate Tax Department and all levels of management and personnel at headquarters and within the international subsidiaries.RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyzing, preparing and reviewing all aspects of U.S. international tax compliance and planning including coordinating and supervising tax staff in their work in order to ensure timely, complete and accurate compliance in all tax matters including the following:o?=Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 5713, tax return disclosures and elections related to foreign operations, and all other required international tax filings o?=Earnings and Profits calculations for foreign subsidiaries including maintaining foreign tax pools, sourcing foreign subsidiary income, and allocating/apportioning foreign subsidiary expenses o?=Subpart F planning and compliance including calculating and substantiating inclusions for purposes of the US tax return and advising on related planning strategieso?=Foreign Tax Credit calculation and substantiation for purposes of the US tax return including advising on tax strategies for maximizing foreign tax credit benefito?=Sourcing of Income & Allocation/Apportionment of Expenses for purposes of the foreign tax credit calculationo?=FAS 109 tax provision calculation and review for foreign jurisdictions o?=Inbound and outbound withholding tax complianceo?=Advising on foreign corporate capital structures, financing, dividends and treaty opportunitieso?=Reviewing financial data for proper application of tax laws and advising on development and maintenance of accounting systems which provide tax information required to be reportedo?=Reviewing local country tax compliance and recommends tax planning strategies. o?=US and Foreign Income Tax Examination information or document requests o?=SOX Section 404 compliance (as assigned) o?=Supporting management with corporate business planning decisions by advising on the tax implications and results of various business strategieso?=Maintaining and communicating knowledge of past, present and potential future tax laws, regulations, rulings, procedures and court decisionsWORKING RELATIONSHIPS:This position will have contact with all levels of management and personnel at headquarters and within the international subsidiaries in order to obtain information for the compliance, planning and audit functions and to provide tax advice.REQUIREMENTS

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
o?=Bachelor's degree in Accounting required with CPA and/or MST preferred o?=Strong accounting background requiredo?=10+ years overall corporate and 6-8 years international tax income tax experience with public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
o?=Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough understanding of international tax provisions of the Internal Revenue Code/Regulations as well as Subchapter C o?=Exceptional tax research and project management skills necessary in addition to effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skillso?=Detail Oriented individual who takes ownership of projectso?=Ability to interface clearly and concisely with all levels of management and work effectively in a team environment o?=Highly motivated, solution-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
