Business Continuity Management:
Companies today are seeking a new level of business continuity management (BCM)-going beyond traditional business continuity plans that focus on recovery to create a new approach in which they predict and isolate events before adverse effects can occur.
Our BCM framework involves the development of a long-range capability. It's more than just a plan. We guide our clients toward "enterprise resiliency," a predictive model that, when implemented, can help an organization to preemptively recognize and respond to a threat before it
becomes a crisis.
This model encompasses key assets that an enterprise needs to secure in order to support successful recovery during a declared disaster. And it advances the BCM focus from operational imperatives to strategic management imperatives.

We are currently seeking Senior Manager level candidates for our Business Continuity Management? group in Chicago.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of related business continuity management disaster recovery assessment and planning experience within consulting or professional services
- Demonstrated experience with risk evaluation and control, business impact analysis, business continuity strategy development, emergency response and operations, developing and implementing business continuity plans, developing Technology and Business
- Process recovery strategies and crisis communication planning.
- Previous experience with business process assessment/improvement required
- Experience with internal
controls, application reviews, internal IT control testing or operational auditing a plus
- General understanding of security and/or systems change control concepts.
- CBCP or MBCP certification
- Creative problem solver
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration or related field
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel
Job Duties:
- Provide managerial and technical guidance and manage all aspects of security projects in complex BCM environments
- Develop security policies and procedures
- Play lead role in client retention, relationship building, and communication
- Play lead role in internal and external communication/deliverable quality including technical content of reports, proposals, etc
- Mold the individuals on the engagement into a team
- Play lead role in management planning, economics, and billing

Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services
- Meet assigned sales target/team sales targets
- Membership and visibility in professional & civic organizations
- Develop proposals
- Publication in designated areas
- Public speaking
- Evaluate, counsel, mentor and provide feedback on performance of others
- Play substantive/lead role in retention of professionals and in building staff complement, mix, and recruiting
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
- Prepare detailed written reports at the manager and executive levels
- Prepare executive level briefings to CIO, CTO, CSO level
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/work plan specifications Contribute to a positive team attitude
