Job Description:

 

Responsible for providing all analysis related to the cost accounting function. Must have a very good understanding of manufacturing cost drivers/variances across sites. Responsible for cost of goods and inventory that relates to balance sheet and P & L accounts. Oversee all budgeting and forecasting process for the cost accounting function at the site and at the corporate level. Interface with other departments in providing accounting support and guidance on all rules and regulations. Ensure Sox Compliance.

 

Experience:

 

Minimum of 10 years accounting experience. Minimum 5-7 years working within a complex manufacturing cost accounting environment. Must have experience in a supervisory role. BS/BA in accounting. MBA/CPA Required. Must have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, must be able to work effectively with team members within the department as well as with employees throughout the organization. Strong systems and technical accounting skills and a strong grasp of product costing, budgeting, internal controls and manufacturing.
