Senior Portfolio Accountant

This person will be responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements for 3 commingled funds, one of which is in acquisition mode and another in disposition mode. This person will be involved in the timely response to investor requests for information, audit confirmations, etc.; the preparation of budgets and quarterly budget to actual variance analysis, and the preparation of cash flow projections. This person will be involved in the preparation and analysis of quarterly portfolio management reporting, returns/yields and the review of real estate property level reporting packages prepared by third party property managers. This involves the supervision of one co-op student.

A BS in accounting/finance and 3-4 years of work experience is required. Real estate experience is preferred, but not required. Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on numerous tasks concurrently are required. Accuracy and reliability of work product is necessary. Candidates must have an attention to details and deadlines.
