Senior QA Consultant

Operating in a CMM level-3 environment the successful candidate will plan, design, and build a QA testing solution for large-scale applications. Represent QA in Elaboration, Construction and Transition phases and well as provide QA support for ongoing maintenance and patches. Participate in use case reviews and design reviews. As a solo QA in the project or leading a team to create, analyze, execute test plans and communicate effectively the status, issues, requirements and recommendations needed to ensure a timely and quality product. Effectively communicate with all levels of management, clients, peers, and other interested parties and distribute timely information related to personnel and/or project matters. Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support as needed.
Requirements:
Qualified candidate will have BS in Computer Science/equivalent (or equivalent work experience) and the following skills:
5-7 years industry QA experience, 3 years as QA Lead, and experience managing
4+ years of experience working with developers, project and release managers, system administrators and DBAs
4+ years of QA tools, such as TestManager or TestDirector, ReqPro, ClearQuest
4+ years experinece with application servers such as BEA WebLogic, Tomcat or .Net solution
4+ years of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, and/or
Java/C# Programming
Preferred Skills:
GUI automation testing experience: at least 2 years on Web based applications
Mercury LoadRunner: at least 2 years on Web based applications.
Practical experience writing LoadRunner scripts and designing scenarios
C/C++
Apache
JUnit or NUnit
