Senior Requirements Analyst

Description of Responsibilities

The requirements analyst has the primary responsibility to elicit, document, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of our clients for systems integration and software development projects. The Requirements Analyst provides end-to-end traceability of requirements and provides scope management for the projects, including review of project deliverables and comparison to documented functional requirements, documentation and tracking of issues related to functional requirements, and escalation of issues that might change the scope of the project.

Key Skills
• Undergraduate degree required in business/business related or MIS fields of study;
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a Business/Requirements Analyst role;
• Minimum of 4 years experience working in $5M+ Systems Integration projects as a Requirements Analyst;
• Must have experience with Rational ClearQuest and RequisitePro or similar tools;
• Must have experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project;
• Familiar with standard software project life cycle methodologies, including Rational Unified Process;
• Experience working with government entities, especially state and local governments, is desired;
• Must have experience in package implementation and custom software development methodology;
• Experience working in a CMM or CMMI ML3 organization is highly desired;
• Certification in project management is desired (PMP, CAPM);
• Project management experience desired in any of the following areas:
o Requirements analysis
o Use case methodology and approach
o Technical documentation preparation
o Software Application testing
o Scope and Issue management and escalation
