Senior Risk Management Associate

  Job Summary:

This position ensures that all risk reviews are completed on a timely basis in order to mitigate the fund's and/or BISYS Fund Services? exposure. Additionally, provide support to Risk Associates related to daily risk management activities.



Purpose: To serve as the intermediary between the functional areas within TA and the clients we serve. This is accomplished through teamwork, positive intervention and associate development.

Job Duties:

? Process daily work in timely and accurate manner.

? Acts as an escalation point for questions and research.

? Provide oversight for risk functions performed by BISC team members.

? Understand the operational responsibilities applicable to the position.

? Manages daily and/or monthly reconciliation of all accounts.

? Assist management in setting policies, procedures, and standards as they relate to the risk management process.

? Resolve all problems directly related to Risk Management

? Inform Manager of problems encountered.

 

Position Specifications:



? 4-Year College Degree or equivalent work experience. ACAMS, ACFE or similar certification preferred.

? 3 - 5 years financial industry experience, preferably in the area of Fraud, Risk Management, Compliance, etc.

? Working knowledge of Risk Management concepts. Specifically, a strong working knowledge of money laundering, terrorist

financing, fraud topics which are applied to daily reviews.

? Proficiency in daily reports. Proficiency defined as the ability to work reports at acceptable quality and productivity levels with

minimal supervision and support.

? Manage conversions/deconversions and projects simultaneously.

? Serve as the intermediary between the functional areas within TA and the clients we serve.

? Represent Risk Management in client audits, client presentations, etc.

? Provide Operations with assistance on risk related issues

? Ability to conduct research regarding regulatory requirements.

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Strong problem solving skills. Ability to solve complex Risk issues.

? Knowledge of PC & Windows based applications.
