Senior SEC Accountant - Downtown Chicago

Our client, one of the most respected companies in Chicago, is looking to add a Senior SEC Accountant to their financial reporting group.

 

Position Responsibilities:Responsible for the preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.)Research and resolve accounting issuesReview and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports from global sitesUpdate corporate accounting policies and implement new accounting standards

Qualifications:BS in Accounting or FinanceCPAPublic accounting experience preferredThree to five years of SEC reporting experience and solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
