Senior Specialist - Revenue

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a mid-level position that will be responsible for recording oil, gas, and NGL volumes and revenues for International properties.  Additional responsibilities will include balance sheet analysis of accounts receivable and accounts payable and performing variance analysis.  This job requires a team player with high standards of organizational skills, excellence, and attention to detail.

 

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Accurate posting of oil, gas, and NGL revenues. Documenting explanations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Performing monthly variance analysis Use of SAP FI financial systems. Assist with internal and external audit requests. 

 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Strong computer skills which will include experience with: SAP FI, Access, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of international practices Strong petroleum accounting and analytical skills Basic knowledge of general accounting principles

 

EXPERIENCE:

5-8 years of accounting experience, minimum of 3 years experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.  International experience is preferred.

 

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Business field required

Master?s degree in Accounting or Master?s of Business Administration degree is a plus

Certified Public Accountant certification a plus
