Senior Staff Accountant - Public Accounting

Caras and Shulman is a medium-sized, growing CPA firm in Burlington and we are seeking a career-minded Senior Staff Accountant with 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience. Our client base is comprised of closely-held businesses in a wide variety of industries. We are dedicated to providing the best management, accounting, tax, strategic planning, and financial advisory services available to small and medium sized businesses and their owners.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years recent public accounting experience
* Must have CPA license
* Practical experience preparing Personal/Corporate income tax returns
* Practical experience with financial statement preparation and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
* Experience supervising junior staff and client engagements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn other applications
* Effective communication skills, both written and oral
* Drive to acquire new skills and constantly improve efficiency
