Senior Tax Associate, State & Local Tax

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join us in our Stamford office.

KPMG?s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice needs more members for their Income Franchise team. KPMG's SALT practice assists clients as they work to reduce their tax liabilities and enhance the bottom line. As a national practice, SALT is committed to bringing some of the best professionals to each engagement and providing dynamic tax services to clients.


Responsibilities:
?Assist state and local tax professionals with tax planning, refund analysis, nexus review, and contractual registrations
?Assist organizations in managing their sales tax liabilities
?Assist with developing, planning, and executing sales tax refund claims


Qualifications:
?Three years of experience in providing sales and transactions tax research and technical advice on multi-state issues
?Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution of sales and transactions tax refund claims
?Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field of study from an accredited college/university
