Senior Tax Reporting Associate

? Prepare federal consolidated tax return, state and local income and franchise tax returns
? Prepare various federal, state and local estimated tax payments and vouchers
? Assist with responses to federal, state and local notices received
? Assist with the FAS 109 tax provision calculation for financial statement purposes
? Assist in coordination of federal, state and local income, franchise, sales/use, and property tax audits
? Provide tax information and respond to questions generated from internal Capital One Departments
? Perform research and tax projects as needed
? Travel to Richmond, VA and other company sites as needed

Required Skills:
Required
? BS in Accounting
? 1-5 years of corporate tax experience in a CPA firm and/or major corporation
? Strong analytical skills (experience garnered in an accounting, planning or forecasting role)
? Strong research and writing skills
? Ability to work independently, develop new ideas, create flexibility and take ownership

Preferred
? CPA or MS in Tax
? Experience with CORPTax
