Senior Technical Analyst

BearingPoint Public Services is currently searching for experienced LAN/WAN Engineers.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Alexandria office.

Experienced Information Technology telecommunications infrastructure professional to support the planning and implementation of network technology for BearingPoint's Public Services practice.

-DoD or Navy NMCI, and BLII (ONENET) networking experience or background is a plus
-The primary responsibility for this position will be the planning, implementation and sustainment of networks based infrastructure including:
-Analysis of current state networks, design solutions to optimize network performance
- VOIP
-Developing technical specifications documentation as required
-Determine system interface requirements and make recommendations
- Supporting development of proposals and other activities in support of marketing and business development.

-5-7 years technical analysis experience in a high-tech, Internet, or communications environment.
- Strong network design and delivery experience along with a background in Network Architecture and design
- Experience in leading technical projects
- Working knowledge of issues and developments in the areas enterprise network and telecommunications hardware, software, long distance carriers, facilities carriers and voice over IP technologies
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, must have the ability to prioritize and work independently
-Strong written and oral communications skills
-University degree required
