Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration/Chief Financial Officer

 

Catholic Charities USA, (CCUSA) provides networking, a national voice on social policy, training and consultation and program development to the Catholic Charities organizations throughout the country. CCUSA is searching for a Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration/CFO.  The SVP, Finance and Administration/CFO directs and manages the financial activities of CCUSA, providing leadership for financial policy and oversight for operations, systems and controls.  As a member of the Senior Management Staff, the position works collaboratively with the President, executive team, the Finance Committee, BOD, and the entire organization.  This position reports to the President.

 

The SVP, Finance and Administration/CFO provides direction and hands-on management around the use of CCUSA financial resources.  This includes creating, presenting and monitoring the annual budget, overseeing the investments of the organization, managing the annual audit process, and monitoring the salary and benefit plans for all employees.  The SVP, Finance and Administration/CFO provides direct supervision to the Controller, Director of IS, Director of HR and the Office Manager.

 

Position Requirements:

 

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance.  A minimum of ten years of experience in senior financial management and business operations.  Senior experience in a non-profit organization preferred with a track record of increasingly responsible positions. Advanced knowledge of best practices in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, investments and financial reporting required. Ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and negotiation skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills and knowledge and respect for the mission of CCUSA.
