Servicing Auditor

The Servicing Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all loans serviced by others by monitoring the ARM, Flood, and Escrows through monthly audits.

 

 

Essential job accountabilities:

 

Audits all loans designated in the sample review each month. 
Audit of Escrow analysis process performed by Servicers
Audit of ARM loan changes processed by Servicers
Audit of MI loans to ensure proper notification is sent to customer
Evaluates all Servicers data, offering a synopsis of findings
Completes system database for tracking of Audit.
Maintains and creates management reports for instant review of risk measurements.
Communicates with Servicers of each monthly review



Evaluates insurance coverage for all loans designated in a FLOOD Zone through Servicers
Ensures Servicers have proper coverage per FEMA
Follows up with Servicer for updated coverage on expired or expiring insurance

 

Fosters teamwork by developing and maintaining good working relationships with both internal and external customers. 

 

Completes special projects and other duties as volunteered or assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience

? 2 year Mortgage Banking Experience

? 1 year Auditing experience

Customer Service Experience

Proficient in Excel, Access Database, Word

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

Working knowledge of escrow-related items (i.e.; ARM, Flood, Insurance)

Working knowledge of mortgage documents (i.e.; Hud 1, Note, CEA)

Must have good organization, planning and time management skills.

Ability to research and problem solve. 

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to work with minimal supervision/guidance.

Must have excellent analytical ability and math aptitude skills.

Strong PC knowledge.
