Shared Services Supervisor (Accounts Payable)

Shared Services provides high quality transaction processing and select knowledge-based services to all functional business units within Tesoro.

 

This Supervisor position is responsible for coaching and motivating team members in the Accounts Payable department within Business Support Services.

Key responsibilities include:

1) Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure internal controls compliance

2) Establishing team goals, objectives, and performance standards to meet productivity expectations

3) Developing staff to include training, recruiting and conducting performance reviews

4) Monitoring business processes and identifying process improvements

5) Maintaining constructive relationships with external and internal customers

6) Promoting a cohesive team environment.

 

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in accounting or related business field. Minimum 3 or more years accounting experience required, preferably in the petroleum or similar industry.

Required skills include:

1) Understanding of accounting standards, procedures, and policies

2) Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

3) Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products

4) Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external contacts

5) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

 

Preferred skills include Supervisory and Shared Services experience.
