Indiana?s largest Sprint/Nextel distributor is Seeking an Accounts Specialist (AP/AR) to join a dynamic and fast paced company.  In this role, you must have a general understanding of accounting, as well as be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

 

? Research and solve payment discrepancies

? Make adjustments to accounts as necessary

? Prepare weekly and monthly deposits

? Coordinate payroll deduction invoicing

? Produce and monitor Accounts Receivable Aging

? Contact customers with balances beyond acceptable payment terms

? Produce monthly invoices to customers

? Accrue expenses at month-end for which no invoice has been received

? Payroll

? Other accounting related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

? Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve

? Good organizational skills and a positive attitude

? Able to work independently and in a team environment

? Willing to cross train with others in department

? Excellent basic math skills and above average spreadsheet experience

? Must be able to embrace change; as the wireless communications world is changing each and every week!

? Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

? Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
