Sr. Accountant

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and CPA required
Minimum of 3-5 years public accounting or equivalent work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Intermediate skills in word processing and spreadsheet tools; basic database skills preferred but not required
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to think outside the box; ability to independently identify and resolve complex problems
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Able to set priorities along with realistic goals
Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously
Must be willing to travel, less than 10%

Perform various account reconciliations and analyses for complex processes. This includes developing reconciliation strategies, applying GAAP to all processes and raising potential issues. In addition, utilizing strong analytical skills in the development and performance of ongoing complex analyses and raising potential issues is required.

Participate in the closing process through preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and schedules, reports, research, and journal entries.

Effectively communicate with all levels within the organization to resolve issues.

Continually review and evaluate information flows and transaction processing in assigned tasks. This review and analysis should include process improvement recommendations and implementation to ensure the most effective and efficient processes.

Prepare and/or maintain ongoing documentation of current processes and procedures.

Participate in various special projects as the need arises.
