Sr. Accountant - AP/Receivable Reporting & Analysis

Job Purpose:

Lead and Coordinate all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable reporting (internal and external reporting) and analysis.

 

Job Duties:

1.  Prepare and distribute daily, monthly, and weekly executive management reports relative to Accounts Payable and Receivable.

2.  Develop and report on various AR and AP trends by category, vendor, department, etc.

3.  Work with various departments within Central Procurement on Liquidity Analysis, Vendor Terms, and AR balances.

4.  Create and implement analytical reporting for various A/R and AP components (cash collected, write-offs, vendor allowances, vendor terms, average days payable, cash float, etc.)

5.  Create and distribute ad-hoc reporting on request.

6.  Partner with business units to assist in translating various reports for  use in decision-making process

7.  Handle special projects as assigned by management

 

Experience & Skills Required:

1.  Able to read, write and speak English proficiently.

2.  Able to understand and follow English instructions.

3.  Strong PC skills including working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

4.  Organizational and analytical skills required.

5.  Able to interact with multiple levels of internal and external management

6.  Able to communicate both verbally and written.

 

Education Required:

Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience.
