Sr Accountant Accounting Manager for Hi Tech Irvine, CA Company - $70-$110k

Hitashi Telecom Products Intl.

is seeking an Accounting Manager and a Senior Accountant for their new Orange County office.
Company has approx 2 $bil in revenues and 900+ employees wordwide.
We have been in business 25+ years with 8 divisions.
This position will most likely be the controller in a few years.
Comp for manager is $110k + 20%

Comp is $70k+10% for the Sr Accountant


CPA a plus experience for manager position. Minimum of 6 years total accounting experience.

Basic month end experience required for the Sr Accountant. 


Primary responsibilities for manager will include:
Monthly financial reporting, intercompany reporting, International cash management, including quarterly budgeting and forecasting, implementing internal controls and processes, and supervision of 5 professionals.

Function as division controller, while leveraging US accounting team's functional resources (e.g. review/approve invoices, book intercompany entries.

? Make adjustments to actuals, as needed (e.g. reclassify expense, transfer items to new cost center, etc.) in US-based cost centers.

? Forecast tax rates for operating plans and strategic plans.

? Support new market roll-outs, including opening bank accounts, understanding local accounting and tax matters and providing interim controllership support until local Controller is hired.

? Coordinate and review internal audits and SOX in international locales.

? Review financial results.

? Establish policies and procedures, ensure they are implemented.

 

Duties for Sr Accountant will include many of the above and support the manager role.
