Position Responsibilities Research and respond to vendor/supplier inquiries and correspondenceReview payment requests for appropriate approvals and nature of expenseEnter invoices into PlatinumProcess payments twice weekly or as neededCreate electronic files of processed payments and forward to bank each pay cyclePerform month-end closing proceduresProcess annual 1099?s for all qualified vendorsComplete credit applications for new vendorsMaintain vendor filesAssist department special projects

 

Position Requirements 3 ? 5 years Accounts Payable experience preferably in a corporate environmentVariable hours to share department coverage until 6 p.m. if neededExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and accounting softwareExcellent organization skills and ability to follow throughTeam player with a positive and enthusiastic attitudeAttention to detail a mustAble to work cooperatively with all levels in Brook and with vendors
