Sr. Analyst, Medicare Cost Reporting - DS

 Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining compliance with Medicare cost reporting function including the compiling, audit support, and accounting.

 

Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the completion of annual Medicare cost reports for approximately 95 facilities in accordance with company and federal standards.Completes accounting entries to appropriately record the filing and settlement of Medicare cost reports.Analyzes and prepares Medicare cost report receivable balance sheet reconciliations.Assists in reconciliation of reimbursement ledger to ensure accounting entries recorded to ledger are incompliance with Medicare cost reporting standards.

 

Experience:Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Admin required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.Three ? five (3-5) years general accounting experience, preferably in a progressive healthcare organization.One ? two (1-2) years of Medicare or Medicaid Cost Reporting experience for hospitals or skilled nursing facilities.
