Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. is one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firm serving Global 2,000 companies, Federal Government agencies, including the Department of Defense, and other organizations.
We are currently searching for an individual with experience in Navy budget and financial analysis. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Description:
The position is in support of the Department of Defense and includes analysis of Financial Plans submitted by DoD component activities. The position is based in BearingPoint’s Springfield, VA office although the majority of this individual’s time is spent on client sites, which may be in Arlington, Crystal City and/or Fairfax.
This role will allow a person to work with clients in a consultative manner, helping them solve problems based upon his/her team’s creative solutions.
Requirements:
· 5+ years experience in Navy budget execution and/or analysis; preferably, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
· 3+ years in either a US Federal accounting role, DoD financial management experience or a US based public accounting firm.
· Undergraduate degree in an accounting or finance-related discipline
· U.S. citizenship
· CPA and/or experience with Federal Governmental Accounting and Financial Statements is a plus
