Description:
Responsible for implementing large complex system projects. Lead team to define effective and accurate business requirements, define test methodology and execute testing, handle system certification and manage roll out and training. Job Responsibilities Analyze new business functions and document high quality functional requirements. The documentation of functional requirements includes business narrative requirements, use cases, and process flows. Requirements must meet the needs of internal and external users of the system and must include proper accounting and process controls. Functional requirements include both new business systems as well as enhancements to business functionality of existing systems. Work closely with development partners to review technical specifications, develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and other relevant test documentation. Participate in test execution and defect resolution. Create comprehensive test cases and scenarios to validate new or enhanced functionality. This includes creating test data and expected results. Manage to aggressive project timelines. Large complex projects that are critical to key corporate objectives require the individual to have excellent time management, project management, and multi-tasking skills. Act as business lead for one or more sub-projects and ensure synchronization across multiple, simultaneous sub-projects. Responsibilities may include establishing and monitoring sub-project plan, milestones, and deliverables to include: analysis, development of overall project scope, definition and documentation of business requirements, issue tracking and resolution, identification of control points, and identification of critical path to ensure project deliverables are met timely. Participate in activities to support the rollout of the new system(s) and contribute to the establishment of future policies, procedures, and standards. Develop metrics and establish benchmarks for evaluating success. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:?Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or related field required (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of six years progressively responsible work experience. Strong Fannie Mae and/or mortgage industry experience preferred. Good understanding of the system development lifecycle, user acceptance testing, and system implementation. Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to understand and analyze complex issues. Excellent leadership and influencing skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork in a flexible and fluid environment. Demonstrated ability to discover, understand, and meet the needs of internal and external customers. Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with business and technical partners. Ability to develop strong working relationships within a team. Must have the ability to work under aggressive deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize as necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. May require occasional domestic travel. Proficiency and experience with Microsoft products is required. Working knowledge of web applications desirable. Experience with end user query tools Raapid SQL) desirable.
