The Senior Consultant will be responsible for:


? Implementing an effective IT risk and control program that encompasses Corporate and ESO policies, standards, regulations and operating requirements (including Sarbanes-Oxley program);


? Ensuring that corporate standards for Operational Risk and Compliance are implemented in a timely, effective and efficient manner;


? Assist in providing guidance and direction for IT Operational Risk and Compliance, including the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), program within eChannel technology;


? Providing consultative support on Operational Risk and Compliance within eChannel technology and the business;


? Coordinating and executing compliance testing, results of testing, the prioritization of deficiencies and related remediation efforts;


? Identifying best practices (tools, training and templates) and adapting them for use;


? Overseeing, developing and maintaining eChannel technology process and procedures related to Operational Risk and Compliance;


? Leading projects to strengthen technology controls and compliance;


? Clearly understanding and communicating technology compliance requirements to staff and management; and,


Providing support to project teams for compliance matters

? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  Masters degree preferred


? Minimum of 7 years combined experience in information technology and technology compliance / auditing.

Experience in information technology auditing, operational risk management and/or consulting.
Solid understanding of enterprise technology systems and operations.  Unix, WebLogic, Oracle and Sybase experience preferred.
Experience with SOX control design, testing, remediation and sustainability.
Knowledge of COSO, COBIT or Basel II frameworks preferred.


? Significant knowledge of and direct experience across the full development lifecycle experience including requirements analysis, design, development implementation, operations, and maintenance.


? Demonstrated skill in leading and overseeing the implementation of technology compliance for a complex domain. 


? Strong analytical skills, proficiency in root cause analyses and ability to resolve problems.


? Keen analytic and process skills.  Experience designing, implementing and testing controls and processes.


? Excellent documentation, presentation, oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently


? Ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity, while providing direction and executing on required tasks


? Strong understanding of mortgage business concepts with a minimum 4 years experience in financial or mortgage technology


? Strong business analysis and process skills

Strong interpersonal skills 


? Strong analytical and critical thinking skills


? Proficiency in root cause analyses and ability to resolve problems


? Proven ability to handle multiple and concurrent projects
