Sr. Corporate Accountant
Our client, a leading Twin Cities?based publicly traded corporation located the South Metro?seeks a professional responsible for providing world class customer service to the assigned Corporate Department Heads through performing accounting and analysis. Responsibilities include financial statement review, enforcement of corporate accounting policies and procedures and GAAP, coordinating and preparing year-end reporting for tax department and external auditors. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, post elimination entries, and prepare various schedules/reports. Perform variance analysis and communicate material variances to accounting management. Individuals will be responsible for researching and resolving issues relating to corporate, as well as, participate in special teams/projects as needed, e.g., process improvement. Individuals should have a continual focus and development of technical expertise relating to FASB guidelines and opinions; and GAAP
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA Preferred. 2-4 yrs public accounting experience + ability to establish working relationships with key internal and external customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Analytical and technical proficiency in all aspects of finance and accounting.
Proficient with computers, standard Corporate operating systems and applicable software applications.About Hudson Financial Solutions
