Sr. Cost Accountant - Food Manufacturing Industry

Our client is a major and very successful manufacturer in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.  In fact, many of their products are a household name in the business.  They have an immediate need for a strong Sr. Cost Accountant in one of their successful manufacturing facilities.  This person needs to be experienced in a plant environment and have the desire, talent and experience to be able to move up in the organization.

 

The successful candidate MUST have:

 
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or related field of study
Strong cost accounting skills
Experience in a manufacturing plant environment (preferably food or beverage manufacturing)
Up to speed on all applicable accounting laws
Must have JD Edwards software experience
Strong item master experience
