Seeking a Financial Analyst for the Financial Services Industry-Controller Group
Job Description:
· Compile financial data and review and verify the accuracy.
· Work towards implementing changes in accounting methodologies, procedures and controls.
· Analyze and document business process improvements.
· Demonstrate ability to research subjects to support analysis.
· Multi-Task and handle different projects.
· Work with a group of different teams and system analysts
· Support Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley related duties.
· Assist in Month / Quarter End Close.
· Handle special projects and perform other duties, as needed.

Position Specific Requirements:
4-6 years of prior work experience in Finance/Accounting
4-6 years General accounting systems experience to include: reconciliations and research.
At least 4 years P&L and variance analysis experience.

Preferred Qulaifications:
· Familiarity with GAAP accounting.
· Diligent organizational skills. .
· Strong Excel skills
· Familiarity with Peoplesoft Financials a plus, but not required.
