Sr. License and Permits Associate

Job Purpose: 

Review and process state WIC, Lottery and Pharmacy contracts in a timely manner and complete Period End 118325 reconciliations 

 

Job Duties: 

1.  Review and renew state WIC, and Lottery contracts according to compliance. 

2.  Review and renew Pharmacy Medicaid, Medicare and Pharmacy licenses. 

3.  Help prepare, review and renew all licenses and permits necessary to operate a retail grocery store.

4.  Determine period expense through 118325 amortization and complete period end 118325 reconciliation. 

5.  Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Management, Division Support and Location Managers.

6.  Assist with training of new associates on all aspects related to obtaining and completing application renewals for locations.

7.  Communicate effectively with appropriate federal, state, city and county agencies to ensure timely processing.

8.  Assist Supervisor with daily activities and special projects as needed.

 Skills Required: 

1.  Able to read, write and speak English proficiently.

2.  Proficient knowledge of accounting theories and principles.

3.  Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of internal and external associates.

4.  Strong database skills, including proficiency with Microsoft access and MS Office suite (excel, word and outlook) and People Soft. 

5.  Ability to communicate and train effectively.

6.  Strong organizational skills. 

7.  Attention to detail. 

 

Education Required:

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting preferred / Business or equivalent work experience.
