Sr. Manager, Finance

The Financial Analysis Manager provides high quality financial analysis in support of the Marketing Organization. Manages a team of financial analysts who help design and implement the division financial planning activities, and establish procedures for revenue and expense budgeting, financial planning, consolidations, analysis of actual performance, operating review and other related areas.



DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:



Performance of duties usually requires multi-function and cross group coordination and familiarization with the company reporting systems.



EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

o Manages a staff of up to three financial analysts.

o Resolves some complex technical accounting and/or organizational finance issues (generally includes international accounting issues).

o Performs annual financial planning activities for a $400M organization.

o Frequently coordinates issues across organizational and geographic boundaries.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



o Good management and analytical skills and an understanding of alternative financial planning and budgeting techniques.

o Demonstrated ability to manage professional people/processes and to gain the support of operating management.

o Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

o Ability to hire and develop financial professionals.PREREQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS:

o B.A. with 9 years of experience, including 2-3 years in management or an MBA in finance or accounting with a minimum of 7 years related work experience which includes 2-3 years of management experience.
