General description:

This position has overall responsibility to manage all aspects of international taxes related to the Company?s international operations.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

*Provide assistance with quarterly FAS 109 income tax provision related to foreign operations.

*Manage international aspects of the Company?s federal income tax return and federal audit including compliance related to Forms 5471 and 1118, and maintenance of E&P computations for foreign subsidiaries.

*Research and analyze a broad range of international tax issues.  Prepare written memorandums documenting analyses and conclusions.

*Manage global transfer pricing policies including assisting in the preparation of contemporaneous documentation and monitor global transfer pricing compliance.

*Assist Sr. Director of Tax with all aspects of international tax planning and strategy including set up of global structure, foreign tax credit planning, and repatriation strategies.

*Partner with the treasury and accounting departments regarding the tax impact of inter-company transactions and cash movement.

*Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley as it relates to international tax matters.

*Manage outside consultants on a worldwide basis and liaison with foreign subsidiaries regarding all tax matters including foreign compliance, transfer pricing, planning and audits.


Required Skills:

*Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex tax issues and concepts to non-tax professionals.

*Ability to manage various tasks and meet all compliance deadlines.

*Knowledge of tax accounting (FAS 109) and related financial statement disclosure requirements as it relates to international operations.

*In-depth knowledge of U.S. international tax laws and working knowledge of foreign tax laws.

*Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.  People Soft knowledge a plus


Experience / Education Requirements:

*Individual should possess at 10 -12 years of tax experience with at least 8 years of international tax experience in industry and/or public accounting with some experience working outside of the U.S.

*Education:  CPA, Master of Taxation or J.D.
