Sr. Manager of Commission Accounting

Description:  Reporting to the Sr. Director of Financial Operations, the Sr Manager of Commission Accounting will oversee the entire commission?s process while working in a collaborative, team environment.

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

 Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of commissions and bonuses to 800+ Payees for the Americas Field Operations.Manage a staff of 3 and implement an optimum field operations support model.Responsible for forecasting commission and bonus payouts utilizing  the ?Centive? commissions system, the sales pipeline forecast and other source data.Track payment and accrual results and assess risks/opportunities.Establish and report on key metrics by plan type and territoryEstablish processes for handling new compensation components as they occurPartner with Human Resources to understand new plan year compensation changes; recommend modifications.Oversee the process of implementing new comp plan changes into ?Centive? for the new fiscal year.Enhance/implement controls by working closely with Human Resources, IS, Internal Audit, Field Operations and all Finance groups to ensure data integrity.Manage the relationship with the third party vendor, Centive.Provide interpretation of compensation plans, address payee exception requests and resolve payee disputes.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

? 10+ years of Accounting and/or Commissions experience with previous managerial and project planning experience.

? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, MBA preferred

? Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

? Problem resolution and decision making skills

?  Experience in a high tech field operations environment
