Sr. Payroll Associate

Red Ventures owns and operates several dynamic marketing companies in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina.  We focus on exciting growth industries and our expertise is in customer acquisition marketing.  The Red Ventures companies focus on home related consumer services.  We are the fastest growing, the leading online, and among the largest national resellers of DIRECTV.  Other services include home security, internet service, phone service, and satellite radio.

 

We have experienced double digit growth quarter over quarter throughout 2005, and each month thus far in 2006 has been a record month.  We forecast continued quarter over quarter growth throughout 2006.

 

Based on this explosive growth, we are currently seeking a Sr. Payroll Associate to join our team.  This is a newly created position and is an excellent opportunity to grow with a dynamic company.

 

Responsibilities Include:

? Payroll processing for approximately 175 employees including two weekly payrolls and two semi-monthly payrolls.  A primary focus for the Sr. Payroll Associate is to insure that all employees are paid correctly.

? Accounts Payable

? Accounts Receivable

? Miscellaneous Reconciliations

? Monthly Journal Entries

 

Qualifications:

? 2 years experience processing payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees including commission and bonus payments

?   Candidate must be knowledgeable in all areas of payroll to include preparing and importing computer input information, reviewing wages to ensure accuracy of payroll, recording changes and issuing paychecks. 

? Proficiency utilizing financial systems and reporting packages ? experience with Solomon, Paychex and/or ADP is a major plus

? Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word

? Must have extremely strong problem solving and communication skills in order to research and answer payroll and other accounting related questions from employees.

? Excellent attention to detail

? Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is a must for this position

? Must be a team player and possess a good sense of humor

? Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Business
