Sr. Planner, Consumer Insights

Job Description: Job Responsibilities The Senior Business Planner, Consumer Insights is a key member of the team responsible for the successful development and implementation of market research projects supporting Disneyland Resort's Marketing, Sales, Pricing and Annual Pass program teams. S/he supports the Disneyland Resort by providing actionable market research which can be used to make effective business decisions.

Aid in the development, implementation, analysis and reporting of primary market research projects, including: (a) Key contact with stakeholders, (b) Statistical analysis, and (c) All research deliverables. Aid in the design, development, implementation, analysis and reporting of tracking studies, including advertising and brand tracking.

Fulfill Ad Hoc analytic requests for key clients, including the Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Annual Pass program, and Disneyland Resort and Disney Parks Executive Leadership teams. Provide insights from syndicated data sources.


Required Qualifications B.A/B.S
MBA Preferred
2-4 years work experience Business or analytically based
Minimum one year of market research experience, with some market research supplier experience preferred.
Strong writing and analytic skills.
Strong experience with SPSS and/or SAS.
Experience working with large databases is a plus.
Experience with tracking and advertising research is desirable.
Strong communication skills: ability to interact with and influence all levels within the organization.
Ability to be both strategic and detail-oriented, as required. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative research and analytic solutions to complex business problems.
Flexible, in order to adapt to a variety of business needs, schedules and internal clients. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
Proactive approach to identifying and solving business issues.
