Sr. Pricing Analyst

Headquartered in Herndon, VA, McDonald Bradley, Inc. is an Information Technology Solutions provider to the Government marketplace.  We are currently seeking a Sr. Pricing/Project Control candidate.

Job Description:

Provide pricing for all phases of the proposal process - proposal development thru negotiations. Act as the primary Pricing Analyst on competitive efforts without supervision, pricing large complex proposals in a government environment. Directly participate in the development and coordination of the standard cost volume packages which are consistent with estimating and pricing practices and procedures. Team with the Program Office to properly plan, strategize and execute proposal development. Participate in the front end of business activities as required to support optimum proposal development. Provide support with audits, fact-finding and negotiations as required. Research and analyze historical data and review input for reasonableness. Work with Project Managers to analyze monthly financials. Analyze budget vs. actual and forecasted vs. actual.  Problem identification and problem resolution of financial transactions. Preparation, analysis, and issuance of financial reports to the customer and internal management. Validate Deltek Reports for accuracy of cost charging. Work with Project Managers in preparing forecasts. Provide proactive financial and program control support on large and complex Government contracts. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Must be a team player. Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline and 4-6 years of Pricing/Project Control experience, ideally in a government contracting environment. Good working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, TINA and considerable experience with proposal development and negotiations. Strong MS Excel skills along with other MS Office applications. Analytical individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and problem solving skills. Proven ability to interface with senior management. Ability to work independently.
