This position will report to the Manager of Customer Accounting and be responsible for ensuring that the Company's revenue accounting policies are correctly applied to various complex and standard customer arrangements.


The role will be key to ensuring consistency between relevant revenue related GAAP pronouncements and Ceridian Revenue accounting policies.
The candidate will be responsible for interpreting Company revenue accounting policy based on GAAP and documenting revenue and cost accounting treatment for new, complex customer arrangements.
The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring SOX compliance and reporting requirements are met with respect to Revenue Accounting controls.
Responsibilities also include performing analyses of company data, facts, and circumstances in order to document, maintain, and update existing revenue accounting policies.
Travel: 10%

Qualifications:
Four year Degree - Accounting or related field plus CPA.
Minimum four years accounting experience (preferably public) with increasing levels of responsibility.
Prefer experience in customer contract accounting and/or revenue recognition accounting.
Experience with the application of EITF 0021, SOP 97-2, and/or SAB 104 desirable.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Experience with process improvement.
Sarbanes Oxley a plus.
