Sr Risk Analyst

Responsible for supporting risk analysis, modeling, strategy and account management for Chase private label credit card portfolios.In addition to the general responsibilities listed below, responsibilities specific to the position include development and implementation of new account management strategies, including TRIAD strategies.





 


Hands on experience with authorization strategy development and systems is highly desirable.  Previous private label experience highly desirable.


 


Primary responsibilities include:



Conduct major research projects relating to private label credit card customers, including project design, data collection, analysis, summary of findings and presentation of results.


Conduct studies of customer groups and product types.  Develop models for projections of delinquency and charge-off, cost and profitability, credit limit setting, and account management.


Formulate strategies to mitigate losses and maximize customer lifetime NPV


Design and write Unix and PC SAS programs for statistical analysis of portfolio performance


Perform other projects or special assignments as required



Qualifications:


 



2 or more years of related statistical modeling or Credit Risk Management experience.

Advanced SAS skills required.

Candidate should be detail oriented, technically astute and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Decision Science strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience with TRIAD or ACS systems a plus.
