Sr. Staff Accountant / Multi Billion $$ Company / North Dallas
SENIOR staff Accountant
Position Summary
? Responsible for the day to day general ledger accounting in the corporate office and assist during the conversion of multiple branch conversions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
? Monthly review/analysis of the financial statements
? Monthly reconciliation/research of the balance sheet accounts
? Monthly reconciliation/research of select bank accounts
? Special projects as requested/required by Management
? Work as a team player in a growing and fast paced environment
Qualifications Required
? BS/BBA in Accounting
? Strong PC Skills- including knowledge of Microsoft Office
? Experience with Oracle Software
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Must be organized and detail-oriented
? Ability to handle multiple tasks/prioritize workload
? Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime particularly during month end process
? Must be accurate and timely on follow-ups
? Effective verbal and written communication skills
? Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
? Ability to interface effectively with various levels within the organization
? Minimum 4 years related experience
?

? Hyperion Enterprise experience
? Access database experience
? Previous Sarbanes experience
? Public Accounting experience
