Sr. Tax Analyst - Domestic - Textron

Job Summary:
Senior Tax Analysts deal with the coordination of Company?s tax compliance with the reporting requirements of federal and state status, preparation of tax forecasts and major tax project management.

Responsibilities to Include:
?Responsible for the preparation and review of designated income tax and information returns.
?Analyzes annual tax workpaper submissions.
?Prepares supporting tax schedules, technical forms and estimated tax payments.
?Participates in streamlining and improving the tax reporting and compliance process.
?Assists in year-end tax provision calculations and advises on tax accounting treatment.
?Supports international and audit tax groups.
?Researches, reviews, analyzes and interprets current and proposed tax legislation.
?Assesses impact of new tax legislation.
?Manages tax planning projects
?Seeks ways to improve tax reporting function.

Education:
?BS in Accounting.

Position Requirements:
?5-8 years large corporation tax experience.
?Knowledge of taxation at a level normally associated with a Master?s Degree in Taxation.
?Prior public accounting experience helpful.
?MST/ CPA desirable.
?Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
?Strong analytical skills.
?Self motivated and team player.
?Corptax ETS experience a plus.
?FAS 109 knowledge / experience.
