Sr. & Staff Financial Analysts
Our client, a Fortune 100 company, currently seeks Financial Analysts and Sr. Financial Analysts to join their finance team. This is a unique opportunity to join a developmental position by providing training, leadership development, and rotations into various financial positions. You will have the immediate chance to have high visibility with executive management and to make an impact on the companies expanding operations in CT. The company will provided rotations every 2-3 years.
NOTE: Candidates must be either US citizens or Green Card Holders
Requirements:
? B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
? 2+ years exp. for F/A; 4+ years exp. for Sr. F/A in Finance or Accounting.
? No particular industry experience required.
? Strong analytical skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization
? Strong desire to make positive changes and develop process improvement initiative.
? Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with Access and SAP preferred.
*** You will be involved in process improvement initiatives in order to create a best practices environment.***
Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
? Provide financial analysis for various business units. Analyze and assist in strategic decisions, assess spending requirements, provide root-cause analysis and provide cost reduction opportunities and cost objectives. Provide ad-hoc product data and reports as required by various customers. Assist or prepare monthly analysis reports, which compare actual cost versus target cost for various operations. Facilitate program ?front-to-backs? to identify cost reduction initiatives to achieve business targets.
? In conjunction with business units goals and objectives, assist in the planning and development of the targets. Analyze process with business operations to improve performance.
? Support efforts required to prepare quarterly forecast data. Assess business conditions which affect actual cost.
? Special Projects ? Contribute on a variety of teams and/or independent assignments designed to simplify/streamline the business process reporting.
