Successful Manhattan firm seeks a STAFF ACCOUNTANT. Company is looking for a talented and accurate accounting professional who can tackle a wide range of responsibilities. Successful candidate will be a proactive and meticulous individual with Excel and GL experience.

Major Responsibilities:
--Month and year-end closing, maintain general ledger entries, process journal entries
--Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of all cash accounts in the GL
--Bank and account reconciliations

Requirements:
--Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance required
--Minimum 5 years accounting experience
--Proficiency in Excel, Word, accounting software mandatory
--Prior experience working in retail and/or fashion preferred
