Job Summary:

Provide team-based financial service support for Domestic Operations. Major responsibilities include bank reconciliation?s, budget data, general ledger account reconciliation?s, account analysis/research, journal entry preparation and data entry. Employee will provide key service through the on-going monitoring of financial information to assist Domestic Operations with compliance of CRS policies and procedures and donor regulations.

 

Job Responsibilities: Perform periodic reconciliation of assigned balance sheet and related revenue and expenditure accounts. Calculate assigned accruals and prepare related journal entries. Assist manager or supervisor in responding to financial information requests. Analyze monthly or quarterly fluctuations in assigned accounts for internal reporting and propose necessary adjusting entries. Perform data entry when necessary Perform other related task as required Prepare monthly bank reconciliation?s and corresponding journal entries in conjunction with reconciling bank accounts. Liaison between Cash Management Account 1008 reconciliation and MSS reporting. Copy, sort and e-mail various budget reports via interoffice mail and pouching system. Receive inquiries and research any budget discrepancies. Review Budget maintenance and process.

External: External auditors

 

Personal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Meeting deadlines. Good computer skills, particularly spreadsheet experience and experience with Microsoft Office and JD Edwards.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in accounting, business administration or finance and Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience
