Staff Accountant - Consolidations

 We are currently recruiting for the following position:

 

(1) Staff Accountant - Consolidations

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for general ledger accounting support for US domestic operations, including Puerto Rico, as well as international entities.  Will maintain general ledger records, fixed asset sub ledger and other financial schedules, completing monthly bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.  Candidate will work with A/R and A/P groups, as well as, support internal customers and external auditor requests as required by providing financial analysis, schedules, and appropriate documentation, as well as providing accurate and timely compilation of management reports, financial statements, and other functions as deemed necessary. 

 

The qualified candidate should possess excellent communication and problem solving skills and must be a team player. Interested candidates must be proficient in MS Office Software packages with a strong emphasis in Excel. Preferred applicants will have Oracle experience as well.  A Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Business is required or equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted.  Master?s degree preferred.  Three to five years of previous general accounting experience with multi-state/multi-country and multi-company is necessary.  Candidates with a construction, contract accounting, or manufacturing environment are desired. CPA designation is highly preferred. Some limited travel may be required.
