An exceptional opportunity currently exists within a Providence, Rhode Island multi-company corporate office for a staff accountant who has the education and experience to replace the controller within two years. Responsibilities include the reconciliation of all general ledger accounts while maintaining the financial and management reporting systems of various related entities on a PC based software system. The individual will develop journal entries needed to expedite timely month-end and year-end closings for each company.A minimum of three years experience with PC based accounting packages and Microsoft Office products is required. Please indicate salary requirements in your response.
