Staff Accountant - DLB NW Atlanta

  Security Company in Austell is in need of a Senior Staff Accountant.  Our client provides electronic locks and safes to the hospitality industry with annual revenues of $60 million.  This position needs to be filled immediately with a career minded accountant who is eager to learn.  Great potential for career growth.  The company has been in business over 15 years.  They are growing at a constant rate.  The need for this position is based on company growth. 

 

Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting
3 + yrs exp professional accounting position
No more than 5 years exp in accounting
Navision software a plus
HFM a plus
Knowledge of Canadian VAT a plus

 

Responsibilities:

? Perform monthly close process, including financial statement preparation and post-closing analysis

? Monthly accounts reconciliation and analyses

? Work closely with Operations on inventory control (i.e., cycle counts, physical inventory, etc.)

? Balances and reconciles all inter-company payables and receivables

? Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly financial reports

? Calculate sales commissions

? Assists with year end internal & external Audits
