Staff Accountant/Financial Reporting Specialist

Department: Accounting and Financial Services

 

Reports to: Manager, Accounting and Financial Services

 

Job Duties:Responsible for all aspects of monthly accounting close processPreparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsPreparation of accurate and timely financial reports for Staff and Board of Directors.Preparation of audit work-papers for the annual audit.Development of new financial reports as requested by staff.Maintenance of fixed asset system.

 

Job Requirements:Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting from an accredited school2-3 years experience with monthly close and financial reporting processes.Strong analytical skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products ? particularly Excel.Prior experience with Oracle preferred but not required.
