Miele, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Staff Accountant with 2-4 years experience to join our dedicated team of professionals and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks; Maintain daily inventory reconciliations, Reconcile inventory counts, Process inventory adjustments or movements, and Foster interdepartmental communication regarding inventory procedures.

 

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting
2-4 years of Accounting experience (preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good organization skills and detail oriented
Time management ability
Computer literate w/ Microsoft Office, AS/400, SAP
Some Domestic Travel Required for Inventory Purposes

 

Duties:
Maintain daily inventory reconciliations
Maintain calendar of Cycle Counts
Perform physical inventory counts
Reconcile and Analyze Inventory Counts
Process Inventory Adjustments or Movements
Prepare month-end reconciliations
Post month-end journal entries as assigned
Run reports for co-workers
Track inventory adjustments in Excel
Foreign Exchange / Costing Issues
Assist with yearly audits
Foster interdepartmental communication regarding cycle counts and miscellaneous issues
Clerical duties as required
